Planning Eco-Friendly Junk Disposal

A little sorting before a cleanout makes the removal list clearer. Start by separating what you want to keep, then discuss the remaining materials and their condition.

01

Decide what does not need to leave

Before booking removal, mark belongings you plan to keep, repair or pass on yourself. Leave uncertain items out of the removal list until a decision is made. This is especially helpful when several family members are involved.

02

Do not mix everything together

Show electronics, appliances, liquids and other unusual contents separately when requesting an estimate. Mixing them into a general pile makes it harder to understand the job. Confirm acceptance before preparing any item for collection.

03

Agree on the next step

Tell DrouCo what remains after sorting and ask about handling options. Reuse and recycling depend on the items and available acceptance. If a particular item cannot be included, discuss that before the scheduled removal.

One more thing to know

Should I leave donation items with the removal pile?

Keep them clearly identified and discuss them beforehand. Do not assume a removal estimate includes guaranteed delivery to a donation organization.
